2026 WINNERS

BUSINESS STADIUM CENTRAL BY ZAHA HADID ARCHITECTS SWEEPS THE AWARDS AT THE 2026 CEEQA GALA

The highlights

Business Stadium Central by Zaha Hadid Architects in Vilnius, developed by Lithuanian developer Hanner, swept the awards at CEEQA 2026 winning a record four categories for overall Building of the year, Best office project, Best mixed-use project and ESG Champion building. Bukovyna Mall in Chernivtsi Ukraine was named Best retail & leisure project developed by Building Development Ukraine, and Fuzja Lofts G01 in Lodz Poland won the Best residential & hotel project category.

The awards recognise business quality and excellence in real estate investment across 11 countries in Central & Eastern Europe.

The leaders

AFI was in the spotlight taking the mantle of Developer of the year as well as overall Company of the year. Panattoni won Industrial developer of the year of the eighth time in 10 years.

Czech-based real estate fund INVESTIKA was named Investor of the year, Cushman & Wakefield picked up two awards for overall Best capital markets agent and Property management company of the year, CBRE was voted overall Agent of the year.

In the people awards Doron Klein of AFI won Industry leader of the year, Rising star leader was Michal Sotak of Cushman & Wakefield, and Robert Neale, founder of Portland Trust, was honoured with the award for Lifetime achievement in real estate.

The business

The best transactions recognized were the acquisition of Palladium in Prague by REICO from Union investment for single asset deal of the year, and the acquisition of the Trei portfolio by Ares Management and Slate Asset Management from Trei Real Estate for Portfolio deal of the year.

AXI IMMO made it four wins in a row in the Best local agent category. Other company award winners included Erste Group for Lender of the year, Clifford Chance for Legal & financial consulting firm of the year, SINGU for Proptech provider of the year and Gleeds for Development & construction services company of the year. The Rising star company this year was REassurance.

Natalie Imbruglia lifts after-party

The gala after-party included a fantastic live performance by pop icon Natalie Imbruglia and rocked into the early hours.

Attended by 600 industry leaders in CEE real estate, the awards ceremony and gala dinner was hosted at Wyscigi racecourse in Warsaw by Polish broadcaster and journalist Monika Richardson and CEEQA chairman Richard Hallward.

The CEEQA Gala originated in Warsaw in 2003 to support the projection of the CEE regional real estate sector to international investors and is recognised as the most influential industry awards and gathering of sector leaders in Central & Eastern European real estate.
