Nicholas Hill

Nicholas is a former investment banker who heads the family investment office of the Julius Meinl family, who have for many generations been active in real estate across Europe and, in particular in CEE. Linked to this role, Nicholas is Chairman of the Board of Julius Meinl Living PLC. This group acquires and develops prime properties in major European cities, then operates them under the brand “The Julius” as hotels whose rooms are mainly apartments. The first such property opened in Prague in 2022. The next is in Bucharest, was acquired in March 2024 and is scheduled to open in spring 2027. The group is currently on the look out for further prime properties both in CEE and in Europe more broadly.
